Heavy post that’s been coming on for a while now.

Misogyny is the hatred or dislike of women or girls. Misogyny can be manifested in numerous ways, including sexual discrimination, denigration of women, violence against women, and sexual objectification of women. Misogyny has been characterized as a prominent feature of the mythologies of the ancient world as well as various religions. In addition, many influential Western philosophers have been described as misogynistic. The male counterpart of misogyny is misandry, the hatred or dislike of men. (source: wikipedia)

Before writing this I was pondering how I would go about it. Should I go out of my way to be completely factual, objective, non-emotional, and thereby play by the rules the misogynists have established? Or can I be who I am?
I decided to go with being me. Especially seeing as this is my blog and all, and if a misogynist doesn’t like that, well, they wouldn’t have liked me anyway, no matter what I did, because I’m a woman.

Five-Year Genome Study Yields Evidence of Homo sapiens/Unknown Hominin Hybrid Species in North America

Contact: Robin Lynne, media@dnadiagnostics.com, 231.622.5362

DALLAS, Nov. 24–A team of scientists can verify that their 5-year long DNA study, currently under peer-review, confirms the existence of a novel hominin hybrid species, commonly called “Bigfoot” or “Sasquatch,” living in North America. Researchers’ extensive DNA sequencing suggests that the legendary Sasquatch is a human relative that arose approximately 15,000 years ago as a hybrid cross of modern Homo sapiens with an unknown primate species.

And the Bigfoot world just got interesting again!

And I so hope more is to come!

Igor Burtsev

Igor Burtsev, Russian hominologist, born in 1940 just broke the silence regarding Dr. Melba Ketchum’s 5-year-long DNA analysis of Sasquatch/ Bigfoot. Here is what he said on his FB page just a few hours ago:

The DNA analysis of the Bigfoot/Sasquatch specimen conducted by Dr. Melba Ketchum the head of DNA Diagnostics, Timpson, TX, USA has been over!
Team of American scientists led by Dr. Melba Ketchum for five years has analyzed 109 purported samples of such creatures. The study has sequenced DNA of a novel North American hominin, commonly called Bigfoot or Sasquatch.
There were a large number of laboratories associated with this study including academic, private and government laboratories in which blind testing was utilized to avoid prejudice in testing. Great time and care was taken in the forensic laboratories to assure no contamination occurred with any of the samples utilized in this study.

I’ve been immensely tired after my surgery and the BP thing but now I’m starting to finally feel a bit like myself again. I have however been thinking and even writing quite a bit during this time, drafts, that hopefully will become posts in the future. But this one will be about vittra, or they will never leave me alone…
I’ve had this feeling, and by feeling I mean obsessive compulsion, to write about vittra for a long time now. They come up in conversations, they pop up in things I read, even though I was really searching for something else. I keep stumbling over stories wherever I look, so, without further ado I give you…

A vitter (plural: vittra) is a member of a species also known as the underground people. They are a folkloric belief here in Sweden, especially in the north and they are said to be living their lives parallel to us.
The vittra are mortal, they can die, just like us. They have children, just like us, they keep cattle, just like us, well, at least like us in the olden days. They have dogs. They are just slightly smaller than us in stature. They wear clothes, mostly grey, yellow and red from what I can gather.
If I should “translate” the old folkloric beliefs into modern views on the paranormal I would say the vittra live in another dimension, one very close to our own.

The Hedgehog Went to the Hospital

For Halloween this year I decided to go all out and have my throat cut, or as the surgeons call it, have a  parathyroidectomy.
As much fun as this seems to be I would probably not recommend it to anyone else. At least not as a fun halloween-thing…

Seriously, for some reason one of my parathyroid glands (4 rice grained sized little buggers behind your thyroid gland) started to misbehave. It decided that it alone was responsible for supplying the world with calcium, and that my blood was the medium to use. It grew big and knocked the poor other 3 parathyroids out and started its evil quest for calcium domination. It sucked calcium out of my bones and food and everything it could think of and proceeded to dump it in my blood, thinking it would be richly rewarded. But despite its efforts nothing nice was coming its way. The job description for 1 of 4 parathyroid glands did NOT say anything about rewards being greater the more you work… So ultimately I had to let it go. Sad, sure, but it was causing disgruntlement in the workplace and the other employees were just sleeping on the job.
Thus, on October 31 I got on a train and went to the Uppsala University hospital.
